My newest purchase is the latest screen from Asus Republic of Gamers is a Beast!. The PG348Q monitor is a 34in, 3440 x 1440 resolution, 21:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio, running on a curved IPS panel. As well as Nvidia G-Sync technology alongside true 10-bit technology and 100Hz refresh rate. This monitor has every feature a gamer dreams of. As it comes with a high price tag, i think most true gamers will still appreciate it. You get greater peripheral vision during racing games and twitchy first-person shooters, plus the extra screen real-estate means strategy games and MOBAs are more accommodating. That is way more useful than buying a screen with a more conventional aspect ratio.The monitor comes with a pair of 2W speakers which are pretty good, You get decent volume for 2W speakers. the bass and treble sounds struggle a little but since you didn't buy this monitor for the speakers they do a pretty satisfying job.As for design, this monitor is absolutely beautiful. Only con i have about that is the stand you get with it which in my opinion, as it is a wonder craftsmanship, it just takes too much space on my desk and i had to just hang it on the wall with a mounting bracket. The on-screen display is great, and is controlled by a joystick on the rear of the screen. The menu is the fastest and easiest I’ve used. As for connectivity, Asus equipped this monitor with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connections and 4 USB3 ports.
